RASA CAFFE OPENS DOORS MARCH 1, 2014

With a good amount of local media coverage* and a great friends and family turn out, Rasa Caffe had it's Grand Opening on Saturday, March 1st.

The address is:

3140 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA 94703

Open hours: Mon - Sat 7:30am to 4:30pm
Phone: (510) 499-3960

The vibe is super cool and relaxed, while at the same time giving us the feeling that we are in great hands. The hands of a food pro with keen knowledge of the rising culinary arts movement with it's health aspects, local community, fresh, farm to table, slow food movement...Rasa Mott has been involved in all these since the beginning.

There are daily posts on Rasa Caffe Facebook page, of people visiting and commenting, so come on down and hang with the local foodies and Firehouse Art crew. 'Like' it if you do.

Still sourcing local sweet treats these Pepples Donuts are here to say.

Rasa chose Bicycle Coffee Co as his vendor for the bean. Here in their own word: "Our small batch roaster allows us to roast our coffee exactly how we like it. Our beans change seasonally, but we always offer medium, dark, and decaf roasts.

Rasa's specialty however, some of us think, is his own mix of spices that he creates a chai base out of and also a killer spiced Coffee drink you can have iced or hot with milk. Amazing. It's his years of being around Indian food and culture, meditation and self effort that have gotten him the reputation his birth name give away: Rasa  = Flavor.
